Budgeting COM just got even easier in Sigma Sourcing with this update. "The engine that powers the Room Matrix is actually in the core of the system," says Ben Gripka, Sigma President and Founding Software Engineer.
This means that purchasing companies can now use Sigma to automatically budget COM and calculate quantities based on the quantity of parent spec budgeted. This is done by assigning COM, and units of COM per parent, within the spec form.
If quantities of the parent or of the units of COM per parent are updated, Sigma auto-updates the total COM quantity instantaneously. This newest benefit demonstrates Sigma's innovative software development paradigm to continue to add efficiencies for its customers.
