If you have ever wished you could organize a project the way you organize your inbox, Labels are for you. This new feature lets you apply color-coded labels to nearly every kind of data in Sigma: Specs, Budget Items, RFQs, POs, PVs, and even admin records like Categories, Companies, and Users.
Applying one is simple. Click the Labels Selector on a form, pick from your existing labels (a Find bar helps when the list grows), or create a new label on the spot and give it a color. Once a spec is budgeted, the same selector appears on the Project Status Page so you can label budget items too.
The real power is in retrieval. Labels are searchable and filterable right from the Search bar of each data type, so you can pull up every spec, PO, or PV that carries a given label in seconds. Manage your label set from the Admin menu, adding, editing, and organizing them just like categories, even color-coding them for easy visual reference.
